“The 2017 Pinot Noir Aurora Vineyard, aged 20 months in 50% new French oak, has a pale ruby color and scents of dried leaves, tobacco, graphite and charcuterie over a core of ripe red and black berries. Medium-bodied with a silky texture, it has concentrated, earthy fruits, a grainy frame and seamless freshness, with a classy framing of new-oak spice and long finish.”
