Originally developed for the United States and now as popular as Reserva de la Familia, Juvé & Camps’ flagship rosé is made from 100% Pinot Noir. Following the “Méthode Traditionnelle”, it is aged for a limited time of 15 months in the bottle to preserve its fresh and fruity aromas. Categorized as ‘Brut’ with only 8g/l of dosage, it is intense, fresh and exuberant with aromas of bright red fruits.

Vineyard

Juvé & Camps Brut Rosé is crafted exclusively from certified organic Pinot Noir grapes from the Espiells vineyards, Juvé family’s original estate.

Winemaking

The grapes are hand-harvested, gently the whole-clusters are destemmed, crushed and macerated at low temperature for 6 to 12 hours, depending on the vintage. This cold soak maceration adds depth and subtle color, as well as enhance the Pinot Noir red fruits aromas. Our winemaker selects the lots that meet the right balance of color and flavors for the final blend. Only the wine obtained from the free-run juice is bottled, the one that retains the most delicate fruit aromas. Following the traditional method, bottles are laid down in the underground caves for a minimum of 12 months, where they will refine effervescence and develop its refreshing, vibrant character.

Only 8g/L dosage is added after the disgorgement to this dry sparkling wine, to showcase of the Pinot Noir fruit in its purest form.

Tasting Note

With its numerous streams of tiny bubbles, this beautiful bright rose hue wine forms a white crown that contrasts with its pink background. The inviting aromas of cherries and strawberries, hints of honey, toast, and floral notes contribute to the freshness of this wine. The mouthfeel is creamy and delicate, with a fine, energetic mousse that caresses dry very gently, releasing all of its fresh aromas of red berries.

"Different, with a strong personality"

Wine Advocate - March 1, 2021

"The NV Pinot Noir Brut Rose, a non-vintage sparkling wine from Pinot Noir grapes, which is quite dark-colored, displays a bright cherry red color with a showy nose of cherries, truffles and strawberry jam with a fresh, pungent palate, balanced acidity and flavors. Different, with a strong personality. It feels like a red sparkling wine, and quite good, by the way! I'd have it with some charcuterie. Juve & Champs is a very popular Cava producer in Spain, which seems to have improved its range and added a few luxury cuvees to their range while also moving to organic farming practices."

"Silky and rich"

Wine & Spirits Magazine (Best Buy ) - May 12, 2021

"Supple bubbles contrast ripe cherry flavors with tart notes of dried sour cherries and bitter orange. It’s silky and rich, with a sanguine intensity that will meld with pork rillettes."

"Long and silky"

Vinous - July 13, 2021

"Lurid orange-pink. Ripe red berries, tangerine and a floral quality on the expressive nose. In a plush, forward style, showing good breadth as well as energy to the raspberry, cherry and blood orange flavors. Finishes long and silky, with a repeating floral note and a hint of toastiness. Disgorged December 16, 2020." - J.R.

Reserva de la Familia Gran Reserva

Cava

“Reserva de la Familia” (translating to ‘Reserve of the Family’) is one of the world's greatest sparkling wines, 100% estate, certified organic, always vintage-dated, and all the more notable because of the quality needed to produce it without dosage.

Gran Juvé Gran Reserva

Cava

Since it was first made in 1972, Gran Juvé has always been an emblematic cuvée, representing the best of Juvé & Camps. Categorized as 'Brut' with only 5g/l of dosage, it is only produced in exceptional vintages and is made using the best quality grapes from select vineyard plots. With a very long ageing time in the bottle of about 42 months, it showcases the intensity and complexity that Spanish sparkling wine can achieve.
