Les Haut Doix is a small vineyard between Les Charmes and Les Amoureuses. It sits within Les Amoureuses before the road to Les Charmes, but the wines show more acidity and fresh fruit than Les Amoureuses. It is crisper, less spicy, with fruit that is less ripe in character than Les Amoureuses. There is less drainage in this vineyard, and the soil is more viscous.

Michele Castellani
Valpolicella Ripasso San Michele DOC 2019
Valpolicella Ripasso
Castellani's Ripassos are made with gold-standard methods in Valpolicella. Because the Amarone grape skins aren't pressed, the Ripasso (made via a blend of Amarone skins and Valpolicella Classico) benefits from the fresh, flavorful slurry of fruit and juice known as a "baby Amarone." The result is a complex wine with aromas of blackberries, plums, cedar, and spice. It is medium-bodied and supple on the palate, with polished tannins and balanced acidity.

Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru “Les Genavrières”
The 1er Cru Genavrières is located on the highest part of the Clos de la Roche vineyard. The wine has both the body of the Clos de la Roche and the finesse of this high part of Morey St Denis. The vines here were once exclusively white, but have gradually been taken over by Pinot Noir. The site is very rocky, with a visibly high content of limestone in the soils.

Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru “Estournelles-Saint-Jacques”

Masseria Surani
Primitivo
Puglia IGT
This wine is made from 100% Primitivo, the indigenous and most well-known grape in Puglia. Though appreciated for its high alcohol in the past, wines made from Primitivo are now more elegant: as the case with this one, it is pleasantly fruity with hints of cherry and raspberry. Depending on the soil type, Primitivo can also contain spicy notes, and demonstrate notes of baking spice, licorice, and even hints of chocolate. Aging for 10 months in oak softens the excessive tannins which sometimes emerge in a young wine.
